The successful Supplier Relationship Manager will be working for an extremely well-established company who have been a market leader in their field for several years. The salary here is competitive for a role of this nature and you would have the opportunity to be based at either their site in Manchester or Nottingham.
The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for relationships between the company and their logistics partner functions at each of the group's locations, monitoring performance. The successful candidate will need to be passionate and results driven, you will have an autonomous role to shape the relationships between three of their biggest external clients. As a senior team member, you will be tasked with ensuring the highest levels of performance through efficient management of theses relationships.
The successful candidate can come from any sector background but some of their key responsibilities will be to engage with all internal stakeholders from top to bottom, the ideal background would be from within a logistics operator managing their client base.
Previous experience of working within a telecommunications, utilities or energy distribution environment would be preferable, you will strive to ensure that all supply chain activities are executed in accordance with service level agreements. This is a critical role in defining processes and ensuring adherence throughout the organisation, providing a platform for future development and growth.
