Are you an experienced and dynamic Special Projects Manager? Have you got a keen passion for the West Midlands region? GRG are supporting our Birmingham client on their search for a Special Projects Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects across the organisation, as new programmes & budgets have been confirmed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project plans and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define project objectives and deliverables.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimise potential negative impacts.
  • Monitor project progress and report on status updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and project timelines.
  • Provide guidance to internal departments and across the project team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to optimise project management processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or project management.
  • Demonstrable experience in project management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Proficient use of IT software, including CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-driven attitude.
