Shift Manager - £35,000 Basic - Oxfordshire
Have you worked as a Shift Manager within a food production/distribution environment? They are looking for an individual who can work independently, who is resolute in their approach to work and is determined to be successful.
As the Shift Manager onsite you must be able to work a rotating Days and Nights shift 4 on 4 off (including weekends), you will enhance their current production/pick/pack teams. Based near Oxford, you will work closely with the wider supply chain teams in developing new processes and supported by your warehousing expertise.
Working closely with the site Operations Manager you will join an organisation that has ambitious growth plans within their field supplying primarily within e-commerce. A food producer/distributor of a wide range of products, the business is looking to appoint a new Shift Manager to reorganise, re-energise and grow their offering in the market. As the Shift Manager onsite you will work and lead your team in a demanding fast paced environment and in return you will receive a more than competitive salary for this level.
This is an operational management role and we are looking for someone who has worked in a warehouse/distribution environment for around 12-18 months in an FMCG or a food based organisation whilst also maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer services within budget requirements. You will lead your team and division on a journey of transformation onsite, mentoring the team and developing where required. You should naturally have a highly analytical mind and have developed advanced Excel skills, both required due to the complex nature of the site. With no two days being the same you will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where the plan is critical to meet customer orders, as is working with agility within that plan.
