Are you a highly process-driven Operations Director with experience running a national Service operation? Do you thrive on driving business transformation to result in a more efficient, more predictable and higher-performing organisation?
My client is a distributor of capital equipment to a range of high-profile customers, also providing a highly successful service engineering capability that delivers strong, repeatable profit margins. Due to the successful expansion of the business & subsequent acquisition by an American firm, they're recruiting an Operations Director to organise & improve their business in line with the expectations of the new parent company.
As second in command to the Managing Director, you will lead a team of direct reports and a total headcount of almost 100 including Service Engineering, Sales, Contact Centre and Technical Training. You will spearhead the multi-skilling of a diverse engineering team approaching 70 heads nationally, while working with your senior management team to identify & execute process improvement opportunities in all functions. Your success during your first 12 months will be measured by delivering increased utilisation rate, the implementation of improved business processes and the expansion of the contact centre to meet increasing demand.
You are an enthusiastic leader with significant gravitas - you inspire your team through effective leadership and gain the confidence of your direct manager through strong & effective leadership. You are a strong upwards manager who is in tune to the requirements of the business, and proactively demonstrates progress via regular reporting & informal communication.
The successful candidate will be paid approximately £70,000 plus benefits, working with a national remit from an office in Leamington.
