I am currently recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager for a successful organisation based in Derby. The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for IT Project Delivery and Service Support / Management across the business, monitoring and making recommendation of industry trends and advances in products and solutions that could be utilised to improve IT performance/capability.
The Service Delivery Manager will take Ownership of all technology, Identifying technologies, tools and methods to best suit a solution. Be responsible for analysis of business project requirements, leading through projects to completion, Design of IT helpdesk infrastructure to meet business requirements and Provision of resource in the delivery of IT infrastructure projects to meet business needs and timescales. You will take ownership of all business systems, offering support and improvement programmes and Implementing cost savings opportunities. You will be ITIL qualified and have experience in delivering ITIL methodologies and concepts into a helpdesk environment.
The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for purchase of IT equipment and management of assets, ensuring quality of 'product' produced is high and providing documentation of the delivered solution. It is essential that an excellent technical and commercial understanding with proven experience in Contracts and Supplier Management and Systems and IT Project Management. The service delivery manager will have 3 direct report, excellent leadership and communication skills are required.
The role is paying £45k based on experience with other company benefits.
