Senior Supply Chain Planner - c£50,000 DOE - Birmingham

Are you an expert Supply Chain Planner who can manage to the flow of material and your customer base within a fast moving manufacturing environment?

I'm currently recruiting a role for a global manufacturer that supports many different sectors, they are looking for an individual who can liaise with both customers and suppliers (both internal and external) daily whilst also managing and giving direction to a small team onsite. The salary for this role will be up to £50,000 dependent on experience...

Working closely with all departments onsite, you will join a global organisation that is a market leader within their field supplying across many differing sectors. You will be responsible for delivering production plans and supplier schedules in what will be a fast-moving changeable environment. As a valued member of the Supply Chain team onsite - you will work closely alongside your team, developing and riving performance to manage and effectively plan production runs, avoiding minimal delay

This is a business-critical role as they look to deliver solutions to their customers whilst still maintaining the highest levels quality and customer services within budget requirements. You will work with your team to maximize efficiency and support new business wins are incorporated into production runs to ensure all logistical requirements are met. There will be training involved but you must have a background in Supply Chain Planning from within a manufacturing environment, you will need to show a good level of Excel usage and be comfortable working autonomously in an environment where the production plan can change at short notice.

This is a face-to-face onsite working environment so it will need a candidate who is comfortable being office based working Monday to Friday (there is an early finish on Friday's).
