Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk

Monday- Friday 35hrs per week

Birmingham City Centre

£22,000 - £25,000 PA depending on experience

Gleeson Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a global giant based in the centre of Birmingham, who are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their business on a permanent basis. This role is reporting to the Head of AP and the individual will be expected to contribute to the monthly accounts payable close process; duties including:

  • Coding invoices, ensuring all supplier invoices have the correct approval
  • Processing a high volume of invoices both UK and international
  • Reviewing employees expenses, ensuring they adhere to company policy and procedures
  • Assist with creditor monitoring and take ownership of accounting queries
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers

Ideally you will have worked within a larger organsiation, have good working knowledge of Excel with 2 + years Purchase Ledger experience.
