Key Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis of variances
Production of financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, and variance analysis
Preparation of annual budgets and forecasts in conjunction with the wider business
Providing financial support to operational teams to ensure they have the information necessary to make informed decisions
Preparation of weekly and monthly KPI reports
Cost analysis and margin analysis
Reviewing and implementing financial controls and procedures to ensure compliance with company policies
Assisting in the preparation of year-end statutory accounts and liaising with external auditors
Ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required

Requirements:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
Experience working within a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to provide insight to non-financial stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team
Experience in improving financial processes and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
