Senior Management Accountant
Location: Near Bracknell

To analyse and report on key financial data within the organisation ensuring that managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.
Identify: a) Annual budgets which the employee is directly in control of
b) Line management responsibility including where possible numbers/teams/departments
c) Identify the job titles and groups with whom the employee have significant working relationships
There will be some involvement in the budget process and responsibility for some areas of the business.
No direct line management responsibility
Significant working relationships with Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Finance Support Team, and Senior Management.
Summarise in bullet format the principal end results expected from the job role
Prepare monthly management accounts for companies within the LRG umbrella, including revenue, prepayments, accruals and fixed assets
Provide insightful analysis of costs and revenues to business areas and respond to queries resulting from the issuing of the management accounts
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with department timetable
Identify and implement process improvements to drive greater efficiency and accuracy in the production of the management accounts
Provide guidance and support to other members of the Management Accounts team as required
Involvement in the preparation of the Statutory Accounts and schedules for Audit and assist with queries from the group's auditors during the annual audit process
Assist in the production of annual departmental budgets
Completion of returns to the Office For National Statistics
Dealing with ad-hoc queries and reporting as required

Complexity of Group reporting structure and reporting systems
Preparing monthly reports within reporting deadlines.
Obtaining accurate and timely information from remote locations
Dealing with Directors with demanding schedules
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Key Skills Qualified (ACCA, ACA or CIMA)
Good written and oral communication skills
Able to plan and prioritise
Excellent IT skills - Experience of Microsoft suite of products, Word, Excel etc.
Attention to detail
Able to communicate at all levels
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics (preferred)
Line management experience desirable - although initially no direct reports.
Business Partnering Experience
Experience Experience of divisional or departmental accounts
Experience of working in a sales orientated industry
Qualifications ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified GCSE Maths and English
