Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Permanent

Hybrid/Remote

A great opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a leading multidisciplinary consultancy practice with a reputation for delivering innovative and sustainable engineering solutions across a range of sectors throughout the UK and Ireland.

Duties will include the design of roads, earthworks, foul sewers and storm drainage and cut and fill analysis for a range of large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer

  • Undertaking design, preparation of contract documentation and administration of construction for projects.
  • Infrastructure design including the design of roads, storm and foul sewerage schemes
  • Cut and Fill analysis
  • Earthworks
  • Oversee the development of schemes using digital terrain modelling software
  • Preparation of project specifications involving both standard specifications prepared by external agencies and in-house specifications
  • Preparation of Bills of Quantities
  • Supervision of engineers and technicians in preparation of detailed scheme drawings/models
  • Organising site surveys and site investigations
  • Operation of procedures in accordance with the Company's Quality Management System
  • Preparation of the designer's input to Health and Safety plans for projects

Experience and Qualifications of Senior Infrastructure Engineer

  • Minimum Honours degree in Civil Engineering
  • Relevant experience in industrial/commercial infrastructure projects
  • Civils 3D experience
  • Microdrainage/PDS
  • Microsoft Office Suite - Excel and Word
  • An awareness of recent developments in engineering design and research
