Senior Financial Analyst (ideally CIMA/ACCA studying) - Camberley

£40,000 - £45,000 + 10% bonus + full study support + pension + flexible benefits

2 days per week in the office (car essential as remote location) - 3 days working from home

We are delighted to be actively searching for an ambitious Senior Financial Analyst, to work with our multi-site, well known client near Camberley. Our client is a very high profile, ambitious, growing, commercial organisation that require a Senior Financial Analyst to join their finance team. You will be ambitious, career-focused and offer recent and previous achievements from your recent roles and also be able to offer a passion for advanced Excel, modelling and data analytics.

The successful Senior Financial Analyst will join a collaborative and engaging team and you will be responsible for:

- Development of the forecasting and analytical tools to help understand the key drivers of performance and financial impact of decisions

- Help the wider business to become more agile and able to quickly respond to changing market conditions

- Be responsible for focusing on improving and simplifying the forecasting and reporting tools and producing insightful analysis for the wider business

- Identifying and implementing process improvements and building strong working relationships across the business

- Work collaboratively with other members of the finance team plus the wider Data teams whilst working directly with the various Operations teams

- Responsible for the weekly forecasting process with strong emphasis on continuous improvement of the accuracy and timeliness of delivery

- Production of the weekly KPI reporting

- Responsible for Budgeting and Forecasting, combined with a focus on improving accuracy of short to medium-term forecasting

- Building tender models to support commercial pricing decisions

- Working closely with providing ad-hoc analysis for the Commercial Finance teams as well as the Head of Operations and Head of Finance

Ideal profile for the successful candidate:

  • Part-Qualified accountant - ACCA/CIMA/equivalent (study support available)
  • Highly proactive, resilient and results driven
  • Ability to learn and develop and seek growth-opportunities
  • Well-developed analytical skills combined with the ability to present detailed information clearly and succinctly
  • Well defined financial modelling skills and experience of manipulating big data across multiple sources
  • Able to work and deliver results in a fast moving and high-pressured environment with changing priorities
  • Able to translate and effectively communicate complex detail into clear, concise reports
