Senior Finance Administrator - Edgbaston, Birmingham - Up to £30k - Permanent with a fantastic company
We are working with a fantastic business operating in markets across Europe. Based on the outskirts of Birmingham in Edgbaston, they are innovative and iconic in their sector. We are now seeking an Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
The Finance Administrator role is a great opportunity to join an innovative and developing business. It will be a busy and challenging to work with them, supporting the business throughout an exciting period of change and development. You will be involved in the day to day whilst also having to opportunity to get involved with projects and systems work.
Specifically, the role will involve the following:
- Sales Ledger - Sales Invoices, Credit Notes, Allocation, new accounts, Credit Checks
- Resolution of supplier queries
- Maintenance of sales & purchase ledgers
- Weekly and Monthly Reports
- Journal entries
- Complex reconciliations
- Processing of payments and receipts
- Petty Cash Management
- Project and systems work
- Ad hoc support for the Manager
This will be a challenging and varied role, supporting a business that is constantly developing and looking to improve.
The successful candidate will ideally have a background in all ledger tasks, with a positive and enthusiastic personality. You will be happy to offer help and support to a busy team of people. This role will suit someone with a solid knowledge in all areas of accounts, who is used to working in a pressurised office environment.
