Senior Customer Insight Analyst

Birmingham - Hybrid


My client, a leading name in the Travel and Leisure sector, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Insight Analyst manager into their CRM and Insights team to analyse data, present to the wider business to provide insights into business's cperation's.

This role will be responsible for supporting the business to understand its customers, through data analysis, customer insight, segmentation and modelling of the behavioural customer database.

You will be the advocate for the Customer from a data point of view, telling the story with data to help drive better commercial decision making, creating a better understanding within the business of how customers interact with the brand.

This would be a great opportunity for a Data Insights Specialist with experience working analysing data from many different projects simultaneously and comfortable delivering insights to the wider business.


  • Support the business with actionable insight, through various methodologies and practices to create compelling data-based stories that add value and lead to better business decision making.
  • Analyse, manipulate and present analysis from the customer database to provide actionable insight to the business, supporting commercial, customer experience and business development teams.
  • Build customer segmentation and propensity models using various statistical techniques and able to present the findings in a clear and non-technical way.
  • Supporting our media and creative agencies on post campaign analysis to ensure that we maximise the effectiveness and efficiency of our integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Work with the CRM, Data and Insight team, as well as wider marketing team to influence proposition, creative and targeting approach across all business areas.


  • Minimum of 3 year's experience in an analytic role.#
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, Python, React, SAS or similar. As well as experience of working with data visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Commercially astute in both B2B and B2C respects
  • Experience e of a wide range of statistical techniques such as segmentation, regression and predictive modelling
  • as well as having the ability to communicate complex analysis to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to present, explain and interpret data or analysis to non-technical audiences and senior stakeholders
