Gleeson Finance are delighted to be recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for this Rugby business. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be part of the finance team, with responsibility for your own ledger. You will collect outstanding debt, building positive relationships with customers, offering pro-active and speedy dispute resolution, actioning rebate agreements, and negotiating repayment plans.
You will advise customers on terms and reduce and maintain debt levels, achieving agreed individual and monthly cash collection targets. You will handle daily enquiries and customer queries in a manner which meets both company procedures and customer expectations, maintaining all relevant databases and job files. Part of the role is having the autonomy to develop the business procedures and policies that will lead to greater efficiencies.
You will ideally have a minimum of 2 years commercial credit experience, with strong IT skills (Excel essential). You will be self-motivated, detail orientated and be adaptable to change, demonstrating strong communicative and interpersonal demeanour and have proven skills in query resolution and client engagement.
You will receive a salary of £26,000 plus discretionary bonus, pension, 21 days holiday rising with service to 25, free on-site parking, picturesque location, plus the opportunity for a fast track career in this growing SME business.
