Are you an experienced Senior Commercial Manager looking for a new challenge? How would you like to join an evolving company and take ownership for the management of commercial, procurement and contracting?

You will be joining a business that is going through an exciting period of change. You will support and lead contract negotiations, be involved in the tendering process and will provide proactive contract management. You will advise on strategic commercial implications and define and oversee adherence to commercial policies and procedures. You will support and advise on commercial disputes, lead settlement negotiations and support procurement activities.

You will be a solutions driven individual, with the ability to resolve conflict and will develop strong relationships through a collaborative and cooperative approach. You will evaluate controls to mitigate risk and analyse relevant information to make effective decisions. You will have a strategic outlook and use emerging technology, market opportunities and stakeholders to work towards the organisation's mission.

In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

  • Experience in bidding for, negotiating and managing significant sales and supplier contracts
  • Extensive commercial and contracts experience and demonstrable track record of owning and delivering pre and post contract activity
  • Industry Standard and/or Professional Body accreditations desirable [e.g. WorldCC, ICM or MCIPS]
  • Experienced in defining, driving and overseeing commercial and contract governance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership style focused on engagement and driving to outcomes:

This is a remote role, however there will occasionally be travel to sites in Northampton and Glasgow. Although the role is mainly remote, you will need to be a strong team player with excellent communications skills.

In return, you will receive a salary of circa £70,000 plus benefits.
