Gleeson are currently recruiting for the following fixed term contract;

Senior Commercial Analyst - must be CIMA/ACCA Part-Qualified

£32-38,000 per annum

6 month fixed term contract

Job Purpose;

To manage the Group's Management Accounting function, delivering timely and accurate management information supporting the decision making process across all businesses. Ensuring that each Business Unit's management accounts information and Board Packs are compliant with the relevant accounting and taxation standards and in accordance with the Group Accounting requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  1. Provide excellent leadership and management of the Management Accounting function, measured by the effectiveness, engagement and delivery of the teams KPI's.
  2. Build productive working relationships across key stakeholders in order to understand financial information of the end users.
  3. Manage relationships across both entities and within the team to ensure alignment in key business strategies and all agreed targets/actions.
  4. Manage each entities working capital to agreed targets with appropriate reporting to BU directors and Group.
  5. Manage each entities reporting of monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets.
  6. Manage transfer pricing documentation and process across the Group.
  7. Collaborate, design, implement and review the reporting systems across each entity, policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement.
  8. Oversee and manage all business analysis for each entity ensuring Group consistency, accurately presented and timeliness.
  9. Provision of support to preparation of Financial Accounts for the Group and BU's.
  10. Support ad hoc business analysis and decision making requests ensuring they are accurately and professionally presented.
  11. Undertake a range of other activities within the function in conjunction with other Finance staff, such as governance and control.
