Sales Ledger / Accounts Payable

Temporary Ongoing

I am currently recruiting for a Sales Ledger / Accounts Payable based on the outskirts of North Birmingham.

This well established manufacturing company are known for their expertise within their industry and providing a consistently high level of service.

You will be supporting and reporting into the Credit Manager to ensure an efficient debt management process.

Responsibilities

  • Actively chase monthly cash targets
  • Complete and present regular management reports
  • Day to day responsibility for accurate and timely cash allocation of payments to the Sales Ledger.
  • Debt chasing
  • Credit risk management
  • Adhere to strict monthly arrears process
  • Pro-actively support 'month-end' Sales Ledger activities

Skills and Experience

  • Sales ledger / accounts payable experience
  • Excellent understanding of the Legal framework for Collection of debts.
  • Strong IT skills including Excel
  • Good face-to-face and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
  • To achieve set objectives and targets.

Job Offer

  • Hybrid working
  • Monday to Friday - 40 hours
  • £12.00 an hour
