We're recruiting for a Sales Ledger Administrator to join a busy Shared Service Centre based in Birmingham City Centre. Working in a small team as part of a bigger finance function, you will play an integral part in the day to day running of the sales ledger ensuring accurate information is provided to senior management.

Duties Include: (Full job description available):

  • Ensuring that all receipts are posted to the sales ledger in a timely and efficient manner,
  • Client disputes against invoices are registered and resolved
  • Ensuring information is recorded in line with the company's audit procedures.
  • Management of shared in-boxes and allocation of work within the team
  • Ownership of unallocated cash and driving reductions
  • Suspense account reviews
  • Supporting the bank reconciliation process and dealing with any queries
  • Supporting the balance sheet reconciliations process, and agreeing any Unreconcilled balances
  • Raising of all credit notes

Ideal Skills:

  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable and credit control environment
  • Pro-active, responsive and action orientated
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent IT skills including Word/Excel
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic & flexible
  • Good organisational skills
