Sales Administrators required for a national manufacturing organisation in their headquarters in the heart of Birmingham! They have been established for over 100 years and are continuing to expand their business nationwide.

Within this newly-created role, you will join a small, fast paced and friendly team to support with data entry for orders.

Your new role:

  • Complete reporting as required and review results to analyse any anomalies that need resolving
  • Make notes of analysis results
  • Liaise with all departments to clarify/confirm information relevant for the analysis
  • Materials stock entries, monitoring and reporting
  • Reviewing product info is validated and ready to be raised as a new Sales Order
  • Monitor inbox with other sales admin to manage work volume
  • Raise new Sales Orders in the system (data entry)
  • Update sales orders when new information comes in
  • Communicate with other departments to solve issues
  • Update customers on any amendments on orders, as required
  • Provide administrative support to the planning and logistics team, as well as wider business and senior leadership team

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience within a similar sales administrator, sales support admin or sales order administrative role
  • Highly numerate; working with order numbers in data entry
  • Attentive to detail
  • Hard-worker, self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • A logical individual who thrives for quality work delivered
  • Always willing to support individuals across the wider business with ad hoc tasks; a true team player ethic
