We're looking to add a Record to Report Accountant into a finance team based in Blythe Valley, Solihull. You will be involved in the collation and processing of information to ensure that reports can be created to assist the business with Financial, operational and strategic information and understand how the business is performing.

This is a permanent position paying up to £27k per year.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day posting of general ledger entries
  • Record accruals / prepayments
  • Prepare reporting
  • Reconciliation of accounts
  • Ensure recording of all supporting documentation
  • Complete FA postings and depreciation
  • Run Fixed Assets reports when required
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Liaising with Shared Services Centre
  • Create expenses PO
  • Payment approvals

A bit about you:

  • Part qualified accountant
  • University degree in finance related fields or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year experience in general accounting
  • Experience in shared services centre of a multinational corporation is desirable
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure
