This global organisation is at the forefront of manufacturing technology with a truly international design, manufacturing and customer footprint, and is leading the way in low volume techniques such as rapid prototyping and additive layer manufacturing.
Due to unprecedented growth, order book and investment they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Quality Leader for their EMEA region to support the implementation, roll out and maintenance of the group wide quality processes and systems across multiple sites in the UK and Europe. The main duties of the Quality Lead / Manager will be as follows;
To define, implement and maintain an agile, lean and effective Quality Management Approach comprising QM/QA concept and strategy for the EMEA region.
To define, implement and maintain a Pan-European (and globally sharing) Best Practice process with the target to benchmark, analyse, improve processes and procedures at all European sites.
To define and implement project support structures and processes in the Quality area for the project development, construction and operation phases.
To support and steer organizational units in the design and application of specific Quality Assurance programs.
To identify, structure and implement Best Practices and Continuous Improvement.
To Support cross functional teams to resolve quality issues in order to improve product and process quality.
With a solid background in manufacturing quality and in depth knowledge of ISO9001 quality systems and process, the Quality Lead will champion best practice across the business and will have a mix of the following skills and experience;
A thorough knowledge of engineering regulations and standards.
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills to develop effective working relationships across regions.
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
Ability to manage cross functional global initiatives and projects.
Knowledge in Quality Management based on TL9000/ISO 9001.
Knowledge on Quality Audits (system, supplier, process & product).
Fluent English skills both written and verbal are required and any German skills are highly advantageous but not essential.
Strong Lean / Six-Sigma CI skills and improvement knowledge would be a great advantage in this role
