Quality Engineer - Manchester - £30 - 35k DOE

Are you a Quality Engineer based in the Manchester who is looking for a new challenge? If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you to join a progressive Manchester based Supply Chain Organisation.

The Company supply solutions for various rail companies across the UK.

The Quality Engineer will be responsible for the quality control activities relating to operations within the business such as:

• Identification and implementation of quality controls within the production areas.
• Supporting the Inspection of wheels and axles using both CMM, FARO and hand measuring
• Use problem solving tools and techniques such as 8D process, Ishikawa and FMECA to investigate product quality issues.
• First Article Inspections.
• Supporting new product implementation, ensuring product compliance
• Supporting audits.
• Manage customer concerns process.
• Implement and sustain quality improvements.

Required Experience:

• A minimum of two years working in a Quality role within a manufacturing environment.
• Working with engineering / technical drawings

Package:

• £30-35k DOE
