I'm currently recruiting for a Buyer to join a growing manufacturing organisation based in Staffordshire. This is an, exciting organisation where there is lots of room for progression for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for raising purchase orders, managing on time delivery with various factories and work with your team to plan incoming deliveries whilst keeping on top of back order value. You will expedite orders, liaise with suppliers and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You will also measure supplier performance and on time delivery and will build BOM requirements.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a purchasing role looking after multiple SKUs
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Good attention to detail
- A positive, team worker with strong IT skills
