Accounts Payable Clerk

Walsall

Monday- Friday

£18,000 - £19,000 PA

To apply for this role you will have vast purchase ledger experience and proficient in all aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

  • Processing a high volume of invoices with accuracy.
  • Processing staff expenses.
  • Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements.
  • Filing invoices.
  • Responding to queries via telephone and email.
  • Clearing accounts payable mailbox daily.
  • Proactively contacting suppliers for copy invoices/missing details.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure a smooth flow of accounts.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Excellent in a similar role.
  • Experience of working in a small team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office packages- in particular Excel.
  • Ability to use initiative when approaching a problem.
