Property Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager
Initial 6 month contract but likely to extend.
£300 per day - start ASAP
My client is a FTSE 250 retail business based in North Birmingham They are going through a major business wide transformation programme and within the change programme includes the reconfiguration, refurbishment and rationalisation of their property portfolio. The estate is vast with close to 1000 properties across the whole country hence this role has been created to provide additional support to the existing property transformation team.
Day to day you will be developing project plans and proposals in line with requirements; liaising with senior managers to drive property activities and projects; tracking, managing and updating project and programme progress though various operational reports; tracking the project finances, updating the property RAID log and managing the property database records.
In order to succeed in the role the successful candidate will have gained experience of large scale property project management; whether it be refurbishments, acquisitions or disposals. You will have a broad understanding of project planning and management and must be strong on excel and generally good with data. Another key to success will be your ability to communicate effectively along with excellent organisational skills..
There is a good mix of project management and coordination and the role will be very hands on and involved in the development of projects whilst maintaining strong governance and administration of the property programme.
