Property Compliance Officer - Solihull - Up to £35,000 - Hybrid working

A progressive specialist organisation who are passionate about achieving their purpose are looking to expand their property team to meet the businesses long term demands. A brand new opening has become available for a Property Compliance Officer to join them on a permanent basis, to support the Head of Property Compliance with the delivery of an effective property compliance programme.

Key responsibilities (Full job description available):

  • Ensure that maintenance programmes are delivered safely, within budget and time frame
  • Manage various programmes to meet both statutory and company requirements e.g. risk assessments, fire life safety systems, equipment programmes, asbestos reporting, water hygiene
  • Take responsibility for the management of software systems
  • Put together scheduled programmes for contractors and obtain various detail including h&s information, risk assessments, method statements and insurance detail
  • Ensure records provided by contractors are compliant
  • Ensure programming and scheduling is up to speed
  • Offer comprehensive administrative support to the property compliance team

Ideal candidate:

  • Experience working in a Maintenance/FM Coordinator role
  • Experience working within a property/facilities management industry
  • Knowledge of using asset management/building maintenance software systems (clearview)
  • Diligent at excel - confidence working with spreadsheets
  • Be fully aware of health and safety issues
  • Experienced administrator
  • Experience of contract management (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of compliance issues such as asbestos & legionella management, fire safety etc
  • Full driving licence
