Working in this global business environment where they engineer, manufacture, assemble and supply some of the highest quality automotive systems in the world to some of the leading global OEM customers, the Project Quality Engineer will manage the development quality activities to obtain reliable products on time with the required quality, manufactured with capable means and processes, using validated supplies to meet the customer requirements and deadlines.

This is a key Senior level Quality role within a fast-paced Project Engineering function and includes a range of the following activities;

  • Control Plans definition and execution
  • Validation Plans definition and execution
  • Control Means definition and approval
  • Sub-supplier management, consolidating approval status of purchase materials and components
  • Process Validation
  • Product Homologation
  • APQP project KPI's measurement and consolidation

The ideal individual will be an experienced Project Quality professional and will have a proven background within Automotive Tier 1 manufacturing and engineering with solid understanding of the creation and management of APQP and PPAP documentation and working knowledge of advanced quality systems including; TS/IATF16949, DFMEA, Control Plans, Validation Plans & Control Means.

You will be a driven problem solver and able to deliver against deadlines and gateways and due to this role supporting numerous group plants across the UK, the ability to travel as and when required is essential.
