I am currently representing an established manufacturer based in Telford that specialise in the design, manufacture, assembly, installation and commissioning of bespoke solutions for the Nuclear industry.
As the successful Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for providing supplier quality assurance and production of internal quality plans and procedures to meet customer and regulatory requirements. You will also be involved in ensuring compliance to quality plans and managing Project Lifetime Quality Records, as well as contributing to other operational quality and business systems activities to ensure continuing compliance to ISO 9001, 14001, other adopted standards and customer requirements.
To be considered the Project Supplier Engineer role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Understanding and experience of Mechanical/Fabrication Engineering
- Experience in terms of EN 10204 (Material Certification)
- Minimum 3 years background experience in Quality Engineering ideally from nuclear, aerospace, or oil and gas engineering and manufacturing industry.
- Related Technical degree but not essential
Please note this is a contract role with an immediate start. The duration is likely to be a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension to 12. Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
