Are you immediately available or on a short notice period? Do you have experience of project management and procurement? How would you like to work for a growing Walsall based organisation and add support to their procurement team?
A Project Manager is required to manage this organisation's new fleet procurement and ensure all key milestone targets are achieved for 6 months. You will be required to create a new Tier 2 framework plan for the next 2 and 7 years and to project manager any other procurement related projects.
You will create and ensure project documents are maintained and kept up to date - documents to include project plans, issue logs, risk registers, change requests, financial forecasts and presentations. You will create and maintain each project's POAP, define and create the ITT structure, Qualitative Questionnaires and Pricing Schedule documents by the Key Milestone dates to be included into the ITT by the procurement team. You will also product business cases with cost analysis and modelling, organise supplier tender presentations and evaluation panels. You will also have responsibility for managing the project contract mobilisation and delivery activities for post contract awards.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Project management experience with procurement knowledge
- Recent experience of creating, planning, managing and delivering projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent document writing and IT skills
- A results driven approach
This role can either be a 6 month fixed term contract or on a day rate. Competitive pro-rata salary or day rate are on offer.
