Are you an experienced procurement professional with experience within the FM, Services or Energy sectors? Are you a strong communicator and hands on with strong relationship building skills? A well known organisation are in the process of strengthening their procurement function through the introduction of a new Procurement Manager.
Based in Canary Wharf, you will be joining a business that truly value procurement. You will be responsible for maximising the value of procurement through implementing new supplier contracts. You will develop strong working relationships with external and internal stakeholders and be the "go-to" person for procurement queries.
As Procurement Manager you will deliver professional procurement services to customers, deliver value, engage with stakeholders, manage suppliers and identify opportunities to deliver value. You will work with group procurement but also ensure that local procurement interacts with group and category strategy.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Extensive procurement experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ideally, previous experience in a large, multi-business operation
- A proven track record in negotiation and supplier relationship management
- Strategic sourcing experience
- A strong commercial background, ideally with experience in FM, CAPEX, Energy or Services procurement
In return the successful Procurement Manager will receive a remuneration package that includes a base salary of up to £40k dependent upon experience and competitive benefits.
