Are you an experienced Purchasing Manager? Do you have experience of procurement within the automotive sector? How would you like to join the procurement team of a leading automotive organisation based in Warwickshire? If so, please read on, this could be a perfect role for you.
As Purchasing Manager you will lead and manage a team in delivering targets and goals. You will deliver KPIs and develop a strong supplier base whilst developing strategy and implementing objectives. You will hold regular reviews with your team to ensure you are all working towards the same strategic goals, develop plans to achieve cost savings and work closely with finance to ensure procurement targets and results are aligned. You will look for opportunities to improve processes and focus on building best practice. You will lead and mentor your team and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Previous procurement experience within the automotive industry
- Experience of leading a team
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- CIPS Qualified, or working towards
- A full driving license and passport as you may be required to travel within the UK and internationally
