Job Title: Private Client Solicitor
Salary: £38,000 - £55,000
Qualification: NQ - 3 YR PQE
Location: Birmingham

I am currently working with a well-regarded leading regional law firm, who provide legal support and advice as a full-service firm. They are looking to appoint a Private Client Solicitor - NQ - 3-year PQE - to join there already outstanding and well-established team within their Birmingham office, however the role is predominantly home-based working. This is a fantastic role for anyone looking to make the first or next step in their career, working as part of a top tier law firm.
The right candidate for this role should be able to demonstrate existing experience in private client matters such as wills, probate and trust. As this role is also open to NQ applicants, these candidates must have demonstrable relevant experience gained during your training contract). The effective management of files and strong client service and relationship skills are important skills for this role also.
Key responsibilities.

• Working on a mix of both basic and complex trusts - and reviewing existing trusts and structures.
• Providing advice on tax matters, including filling, and drafting income tax returns
• Producing accounts for estates and trusts
• Driving business within the team and supporting other teams with business development and selling
• Drafting and registering lasting powers of attorney, wills and declarations of trust
• Completing applications to the Court of Protection
