My client, a leading travel business based in London, is looking to recruit a PR Manager into their past paced marketing team, this is a brand new role to the business due to ongoing and sustained growth. As the PR Manager you will be responsible for proactively driving Global and Regional PR output to drive brand awareness and increase brand loyalty.

Developing and implementing an effective PR strategy, you will focus on managing the PR comms calander, delivering new ideas to support the flow on information, and building publicity through a range of media channels.

This role will suit someone who is highly creative, process driven and an eye for detail - you will be someone who works collaboratively but also loves being hands on. My client, a passionate disruptor, takes their work very seriously, but doesn't take themselves too seriously.

The Role:

  • Own and deliver the global PR strategy, working closely with the wider global marketing team to execute this strategy.
  • Lead the PR Team in the development of pitches, stories, influencer activation and media.
  • Develop an ongoing outreach plan with relevant publishers, social channels, digital sites and pod-casts.
  • Build strong, and long term relationships with bloggers, journalists and influencers within the travel space.
  • Develop strong media lists and PR toolkits, writing engaging press releases and reaching out to the media.
  • Lead monthly PR meetings and quarterly trends meetings, feeding back to the wider team on performance, learning's and future ideas.
  • Conduct regular market research, identifying key opportunity for growth.

The ideal candidate:

  • Have proven experience in a similar PR role.
  • Experience within the consumer space is essential (travel is desired but not essential)
  • Have experience implementing and delivering an effective PR strategy across a range of media channels.
  • Excellent relationship building skills with the media, bloggers and influencers.
  • Creative,with the eye for developing a good story.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a strong dedication for attention to detail
  • Self-starter who can demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities and problem-solving skills in an ambiguous environment.
