Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be recruiting a PPC Marketing Executive for a large, well known, online retailer based in Birmingham. If you have PPC experience and want to work for a household brand with scope for fantastic progression and training, then please read on and apply.

Job title: PPC Marketing Executive

Location: Birmingham city center

Contract: 12-month FTC - potential to extend/room to expand team

Salary: £25-£38K (dependent on experience)

Start date: October/September 2021

The role:

Working as part of the Digital Marketing Team for a leading online retailer in this field. You will be working closely with the existing search engine marketing team to increase business growth through acquisition and optimization.

The role will be focusing on search engine marketing but specifically within the paid search environments such as Google AdWords and you will be involved in all levels of paid marketing channels.

Key requirements of role:

  • Manage the portfolio of PPC programmes on a large scale and budget, across multiple brands and search engines.
  • Budget plan new campaigns and report on the budgeting of current campaigns
  • Analyse current CPC bidding to decrease costs and maintain ROI
  • Create new ad copy to encourage good click-through-rates across search and display online marketing campaigns

Candidate criteria:

  • Experience of PPC account management (Adwords/Bing Ads).
  • Experience and ability to report and act on findings
  • Experience within an e-commerce/retail environment
  • Experience in using Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
  • Experience with advanced PPC approaches, including Google Shopping.
  • Experience with Search Ads 360/other automated PPC bidding platforms.
  • Experience in multi-lingual CPC bidding.
  • Understanding of multi-screen CPC campaigns.
