We are currently recruiting for a People Administrator to join our client's team. This is a brand new opportunity and a great entry level position suitable for anyone with a proven interest in Human Resources, having either studied for a qualification, or had exposure to it as part of any work experience undertaken.

Your key responsibilities will include

* Be the first point of contact for all People enquiries and elevate to other members of the team if needed

* To ensure all payroll administration is efficiently managed

* To keep the Human Resources Information System up to date with employee details

* Administer offer letters, contracts of employment and promotion letters

* Conduct reference checks on all new starters and to provide references for employees when needed

* To assist your colleagues with the day to day operations of the department and with ad hoc projects and reports as required

* Assist with employee recognition initiatives such as birthday celebrations, long service awards, and awards of excellence

* Maintain all filing systems and databases to allow for the easy retrieval of information

* To assist with the effective recruitment of team members

* Provide assistance and support the company in any employee relations issues that arise

* Assist with the coordination and delivery of training sessions

About you

* Have studied for or have a keen interest in Human Resources

* Meticulous attention to detail

* A proactive approach with a self-driven attitude

* Excellent written and spoken English

* Outstanding organisation skills

* A responsible and mature attitude

* The ability to remain calm and diplomatic in challenging situations

* Be able to work with the highest discretion and keep information confidential
