Gleeson Finance are working in partnership with this well-known large business in Wawrickshire to recruit a Payroll Team Leader. Overseeing a team of 3, you will report into the Payroll Manager. We are looking for a passionate and committed Payroll Team Leader to support the Manager in providing a professional and responsive Payroll Service to customers both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the payroll administrators on a day to day basis.
  • Manage the cover/allocate weekly payrolls when members of the dept are absent.
  • Process a monthly payroll.
  • Produce when required ad-hoc Payroll reports.
  • Resolve complex employee queries, if the payroll administrator is unsure.
  • Provide training/development to other members of the team.
  • Process year end.
  • Ensure the Payroll Administrators are compliant with Sox procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and on time information.

In order to be considered, you will have excellent attention to detail, an advanced level of Excel knowledge (VLookUp, Pivot tables), with experience of payroll & government legislation. You will have experience of the payroll process, and be a driven and enthusiastic individual.
