Are you looking for a payroll position but also enjoy getting involved in other aspects of finance? We're currently recruiting for a friendly, long standing and successful business in Worcester for a payroll / accounts assistant.
Ideally you'll be experienced in payroll, handling starters and leavers, calculating payments and be confident in liaising with staff to explain their queries and resolve any problems. you'll be in sole charge of the day to day input and collation of payroll information before sending it over to a bureau for finalisation.
You ll also get involved in day to day finance to support the finance function such as preparing VAT information, purchase ledger, sales ledger, some assistant management accounting duties etc.
The successful Payroll / Accounts assistant will be working for an employer who is really well regarded, their staff tend to be long standing and well looked after.
