Payroll Officer
We have an excellent opportunity for a sole Payroll Officer to join a fabulous company based in Birmingham to carry out their payroll for over 300 members of staff
Payroll Officer Core Duties
- Reviewing and processing monthly and weekly time sheets
- Preparing BACs reports
- Reconciling PAYE & NI (UK) and PAYE & PRSI (ROI), and making payments to HMRC and Revenue
- Processing month end reconciliations and year end procedure
- Liaising with external agencies such as HMRC, Revenue, pension providers etc.,
- Complete all weekly and monthly payroll reporting requirements
- Resolving HMRC and Revenue queries around RTI submission and pay for all employees
- Keeping up-to-date with proposed legislation and regulations, communicating potential payroll implications to the HR Manager and Financial Controller
- Continually reviewing processes and working practices to ensure the company maintains an up to date, effective
What we are looking for:
- Language: fluent in English (spoken and written).
- At least 2 years previous experience of running ROI and/or UK, weekly and monthly payrolls
- Demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
- Excellent IT skills
