Gleeson Recruitment Group are delighted to supporting one of our Slough based clients, with the recruitment of a part time Office Administrator. Due to business growth, and some recent acquisitions, the experienced, and highly motivated HR Manager is seeking to appoint a part-time HR Administrator, initially around 12-16 hours per week.

As the part-time Office Administrator you will work closely alongside the HR Manager providing a confidential, professional and proactive support to the wider business.

The HR team works closely with the wider business and your role will put you in contact with every level of the 100 employees.

As part-time Office Administrator, you will be responsible for

  • Supporting the HR Manager with all areas of administration
  • Setting up all new starters onto the internal HR systems
  • Enrolling new starters into the business
  • Responsible for all administration for new starters - PC's, security passes, email addresses etc
  • Organising IT inductions - liaise with IT to make sure equipment is ready
  • Issuing of new contracts for starters
  • Assisting with getting new starters onto the Payroll system
  • Handling administration for all starters and finishers
  • Answer ad hoc questions for staff
  • Probation - sending letters and documentation to staff once passed probation with details of pension etc

Experience and skills required

  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Team player but able to work alone and in isolation
  • Good Office skills including Word, Outlook and Excel etc
  • Previous administration experience - potentially within HR, or similar function
  • Be polite, hard-working with a high level of professionalism and integrity

Working hours/days

  • Part time, permanent position with hours being variable, between 12 to 16 hours per week across 3 to 4 days of your choosing
  • Based in their Head Office on the outskirts of Slough - within easy access of all public transport routes and also have plenty of free parking and modern offices
