How would you like to be an integral part of shaping and growing a new procurement department? Are you an experienced Purchasing Manager with experience of implementing a Source to Pay system? If so, please read on as I have an exciting opportunity for a Purchasing Manager based in North Birmingham
This role will support the development of the centralised procurement function and will incorporate implementation of a P2P system that will incorporate Source to Pay and Supplier Management. You will assist in the selection of the technology partner and then onboard suppliers, manage integration and develop policies and processes. You will own the P2P agenda and influence stakeholders to ensure best practice is followed and implemented. You will work with colleagues to increase the use of catalogues and automated purchase requests.
Along with the above you will also develop a set of operational reports to assist with spend management, savings delivery, supplier management and risk management. You will work with stakeholders to develop and refine P2P policies and processes and produce training materials and deliver these to internal stakeholders.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Experience of managing and implementing P2P or Source to Pay technologies
- Team management experience
- Strong report writing skills
- The ability to present management information to senior stakeholders
- Experience of driving business improvement via technology
- A results orientated approach
This role is an evolving role which is likely to result in management of team. There will also be occasional UK travel involved. In return, you will receive a salary of circa £50,000 plus benefits.
