Are you an Operations Manager looking to move to a growing organisation? Do you have previous experience within warehouse, operations, logistics or supply chain and are looking for a move into an operational role? This opportunity could be perfect for you!
Working for this distributor based in Maidstone, you will work closely with members of your team to develop strategy, establish budgets and objectives and maintain the highest level of customer service. You will drive the profitability of this business and be responsible for meeting objectives and KPIs. You will ensure best practice is achieved across warehousing, logistics and transport activities whilst minimising cost and maximising profit.
Relationships with customers, suppliers and staff are key within this role are key and you will ensure these are managed appropriately. You will also work collaboratively with other sites and work towards meeting sales targets.
In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:
- Previous managerial experience within an operations, warehousing or supply chain role
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent influencing skills
- The ability to resolve conflict and promote teamwork
- Confidence working within a high pressured environment
- The ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent IT Skills
In return, you will receive a salary of circa £35,000- £40,000 + car, excellent bonus and other benefits.
