My client, who are based onsite at a leading brand within retail are seeking to recruit a Onsite Logistics Support to join their established team onsite.
Reporting to the Onsite Manager, the Onsite Logistics Support would be directly responsible for overseeing the client pick allocation operation. Responsibilities include customs declarations, verification of work allocations and on time performance along with tracking deliveries in accordance to the daily plan.
The Onsite Logistics Support will oversee the operation onsite building on an already good relationship with their customer to ensure success, analyse current and historical data to monitor trends, provide management visibility and drive improvements. The role has real development attached to it as this is a junior management level appointment, progression within the company is available for a candidate who can display the right tenacity and drive.
The successful Onsite Logistics Support will have exposure of working in a logistics environment with previous experience in a demanding retail logistics role with a track record of dealing with a demanding customer. Your main areas of responsibility will include :
- Build relationship with your customer to ensure ongoing success
- Ensure inbound containers arrive on time and to plan into DC
- Complete import customs declarations
- Verification of client pick
The following benefits package is available to the successful Onsite Logistics Support:
- £20,000 - £22,000 basic salary
