Our values led client is seeking a proactive and confident individual to join their team!

We are supporting a leading legal firm, who are looking to grow their team within their outgoing and ambitious Birmingham office. As an Office Junior, you will be responsible for the first point of contact for the office, with the ability to hit the ground running and support the team with a hands-on approach.

Duties Include but are not exclusive to

  • Working closely with the Office Manager on site to provide support to Partners, Paralegals and Client Services Department
  • Handling inbound and outbound post, organising deliveries, and distributing as required
  • Organising new IT equipment being delivered & setting up workstations
  • Assisting the wider team with daily queries, both internal and external
  • Photocopying, printing files, binding, and laminating documents
  • Draft, format, and printing of relevant documents/letters
  • Answering the main telephone line, directing calls to appropriate colleagues, taking accurate phone messages
  • Meeting and greeting all clients and visitors in a professional manner
  • Full responsibility for the maintenance and upkeep / tidiness of meeting rooms
  • Ensuring all rooms are ready for meetings and bookings scheduled
  • Order general office supplies and stationary

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working within a similar office administration environment
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft packages including Outlook, Word, Excel & Powerpoint & CRM System is a distinct advantage
  • Be open and communicative, with a positive, professional, can-do attitude and approach to work
  • Ability to be able to work on your own and use your own initiative
  • Willing to learn new skills and tasks to provide extra support in busier periods
