My client, a next day delivery provider, are looking to recruit a Transport Planner to look after their night-time 3.5 tonne and van transport fleet across multiple sites. Your salary for attaining this position will be c£27,000 and other additional benefits…
As the new Night Transport Planner will be responsible for planning and executing the next day transport operations across all sites, ensuring all deliveries are aligned to RHA, MHRA & GDP guidelines. You will also need to coordinate night trunking movements and liaise with any air freight movements into the distribution centre.
To be successful in the role you will be a proven Transport Planner with experience running multi-site logistics facilities, ideal sector background would be from pharmaceutical, but a parcels sector background could also transition nicely.
As the new Nights Transport Planner, you will need to demonstrate practical working experience of operating within complex transport environments in fast paced distribution. You will need to demonstrate good experience of UK geography whilst you route plan for next day delivery. You must be results driven and be comfortable in a KPI reporting environment as the company believe in monitoring performance to drive best practice. The role requires a strong leader of people who can make things happen when faced with challenging environments.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of c£27,000 plus a company car allowance and a competitive benefits package.
