Network Engineer (CCNP) (Remote) (Occasional Adhoc site Visits) (West Midlands Based) £52,000-£60,000 (10% AVP/STI Bonus)
Gleeson are working alongside an incredibly established Global client who have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Network Engineer to land and expand a brand new UK central Hub and grow with what will be a quickly developing team setting up the new UK presence.

The client are looking for an experienced Network Engineer that can work autonomously as well as working closely with the international IT teams implementing, maintaining, and monitoring performance of the complex network infrastructure and security. You will provide recommendations to improve network redundancy, reliability, scalability, and productivity of day-to-day operations.
You will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience in CCNA; CCNP
  • Qualified applicants will have 5 plus years of experience in network (WAN/LAN/VPN) design.
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting experience.
  • Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows Server 2019 and 2022, Cisco Palo Alto, Velocloud

It is desirable but not essential for the successful candidate to have experience with the Network automation tools, Ansible and Python as well as working as part of a Global team.
