NDT Level 2

Duties:

Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment.

Conduct Fluorescent Penetrant, Magnetic Particle and Visual Inspections to detect discontinuities (defects) using approved NDT methods and techniques.

Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.

Organize and report test results.

Report any discrepancies or non-conformances to Responsible Level 3

Perform scheduled maintenance and control checks on NDT and other Special Processes Equipment.

Perform other job related tasks as assigned by management (e.g. Stainless Steel Passivation)

Calibration of NDT and associated equipment.

Assist the Responsible Level 3 in the general administration of the NDT department and the preparation for NADCAP Audits.

Qualifications:

NDT Level 2 Certification in Fluorescent Liquid Penetrant Inspection (Preferably EN4179 Aerospace)

NDT Level 2 Certification in Fluorescent Magnetic Particle Inspection (Preferably EN4179 Aerospace)

PCN Level 2 in both of the above methods as well as Direct Visual Inspection would also be advantageous, although training and examinations will be provided for the right candidate.
