As you the successful NC Programmer you will be responsible for the creation of NC programmes using Catia V5 on various 3, 4 and 5 axis machines. You will create tool builds, utilise the latest cutting strategies in conjunction with tooling suppliers and ensure that all Capex spend is strictly monitored and within budget. But ahead of everything else, you will be responsible for ensuring the companies reputation and standards are maintained through the products that you engineer.
To be considered for this once in a lifetime opportunity you will be able to demonstrate the following:
- A proven history programming Catia V5 across 3, 4 and 5 axis machines
- Ability to read and interpret 2D drawings and 3D models
- A good knowledge of Solidworks 3D modelling
- Relevant understanding of Vericut
- Experience of both programming and machining materials such as aluminium on both milling and millturn machines
- Previous working experience of the aerospace industry would be advantageous
