I am recruiting for an MRO Buyer based in Tamworth. This is a hybrid role with a mix of home and office work. You will be responsible for defining the supply base, managing supplier relationships, RFQs and negotiating with suppliers. You will also engage in benchmarking, managing the order to pay process and identifying savings.

This is an excellent opportunity where you will have ownership of your own categories and create category and sourcing strategies to procure fit for purpose materials, services and capital equipment that deliver value.

In order to carry out this role, you will need the following skills and experience:

Proven experience of MRO buying
Solid knowledge of procurement processes
Good negotiation skills
The ability to multi task
Excellent communication and people skills
Knowledge of SAP or Ariba is beneficial
CIPS qualification or willingness to undertake this
