MP&L Manager (Material Planning & Logistics) - £65,000 + Additional Benefits - Shropshire

Can you bring an expertise within MP&L to a global manufacturer working within the automotive sector? They are looking for an individual who can work with a reactive plan, who is resolute in their approach to work and is determined to be successful.

Working closely with the site General Manager you will join an organisation that is a market leader within their field supplying primarily across the automotive sector. A manufacturer of market-leading automotive products, the business is looking to appoint a new MP&L Manager who will be tasked with reorganising, re-energising and growing their offering in the market. The MP&L Manager will work and lead a small team under them and will receive a more than competitive salary for this level.

This is a senior level appointment and one that will help shape the division moving forwards as they look to deliver solutions to MP&L problems both onsite and with suppliers whilst still maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer services within budget requirements. You will lead your team and division on a journey of transformation onsite, mentoring the team and developing where required. You should naturally have a highly analytic mind and have developed advanced Excel skills, both required due to the complex nature of production. With no two days being the same you will enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where the plan is critical to meet customer orders, as is working with agility within that plan.

Having worked extensively with this company over several years, the future of the organisation has never looked brighter with this role offering the successful candidate the opportunity to develop their career and progress further within the organisation which could be either in the UK or on a global scale. This role is predominantly site based but there may be an element of flexibility when it comes to working from home.
