I'm currently recruiting a MP&L Analyst for a dynamic organisation who are based in Coventry, they have gone through a period of change recently which means they are now reorganised, reenergised and growing.
This manufacturing organisation supply into the automotive, aerospace and defence industries, they have a requirement for a MP&L Analyst to join them and manage the supply chain of parts to meet customer demand. You will be responsible for ensuring parts are available on time and in full against schedules and that stock levels are maintained. You will plan works orders, liaise directly with customers, progress parts, capacity plan, monitor slow moving or obsolete stock, report and maintain KPIs and analyse customer forecasts and communicate any issues or changes to the business in a timely manner.
Previous experience of working as a Supply Chain Analyst/Logistics Analyst/Material Planner or Production Planner within the automotive sector would be preferable but other sectors will be considered. Within the role you will need to be very data driven as interpreting information from MRP/ERP systems will be pivotal so assessing customer trends not only this but the successful candidate will also need a good level of commercial understanding to thrive here. You will need to be able to communicate at all levels internally and externally, a high level of computer literacy is essential, usage of V Look Ups and Pivot Tables will be a daily occurrence.
The successful candidate will receive a salary up to £30,000 plus benefits. The organisation is moving forward with pace and as a result, career progression opportunities exist for talented & hardworking people.
